
Attila György Németh

Attila György Németh is a doctoral student. He was born on March 24, 1993 in Szeged. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Law with the grade cum laude at the University of Szeged Faculty of Law and Political Sciences in 2018. After graduation, he was admitted to the doctoral program of the University and has since been a state scholarship student at the Institute of Criminal Sciences. His supervisors are Prof. Dr. Zsolt Szomora and Dr. Erzsébet Molnár. His research areas are substantive criminal law and criminal law dogmatics. The research focuses on the definition of expectability and motivational circumstances in the Hungarian criminal law. He is currently spending two semesters at the Eberharld Karls University in Tübingen with the support of the Erasmus program. Within the framework of the Digicrimjus collaboration he examines the issue of criminal negligence in the context of self-driving vehicles. In his view, Digicrimjus provides a unique opportunity for the three participating institutions to seek solutions to the latest, global infocommunicational challenges affecting criminal law.
